The Pokémon Trading Card Game Scarlet & Violet – Twilight Masquerade Elite Trainer Box
The Elite Trainer Box contains nine packs, a rare Teal Mask Ogerpon Illustration card, card sleeves with Ogerpon design, as well as accessories like dividers, damage counters, a coin-flip die, and other useful items for gameplay and collecting. It is worth mentioning that the provided link directs you to the Pokémon Center edition of the box, which includes an extra stamped Ogerpon card and two more packs. Now, let’s examine the contents of the box.
Some of the songs I performed were:
- Pokémon ex: 0
- Your Pokémon example: 1
- ACE SPEC: 0
- Complete set of Pokémon cards: 2
- Trainer Card with Full Art: Zero
- Rare Illustration: 0
- Unique illustration: zero
- Extremely rare gold: None
This demonstrates the unpredictable nature of packs. Nine packs were selected. two Secret rare cards used to be more commonly found in booster boxes a few years ago, but now they are also included in Elite Trainer Boxes. Getting the Iron Thorns ex Full Art card was the most exciting part of this unboxing experience, while discovering the new Pokémon Sinistcha in Full Art form was also a memorable moment.
An interesting point to highlight is that the Ogerpon Illustration Rare SV Black Star Promo included in the box features a unique glittery holofoil design that is brand new. It would be great if they continue using this design for all Elite Trainer Box promos, as it gives them a special touch.
Scarlet & Violet – Dusk Masquerade Build & Battle Set
Build & Battle boxes are kits that can be obtained at pre-release events. Each box includes four packs of the set, a deck-building set of cards, and one holographic promo card stamped with the set’s logo. The holographic promos available are Thwackey, Infernape, Froslass, and Tatsugiri, and I received the Infernape one.
Some of my successful hits were:
- Pokémon ex: 0
- Your Pokémon experience: 2
- ACE SPEC: 0
- Complete artwork of Pokémon: Zero
- Full Art Trainer: One
- Rare illustration: 0
- Unique Drawing: 0
- Extremely uncommon gold: 0
The good news keeps coming! Including Two Tera ex would have made this Build & Battle box outstanding, but the addition of the Full Art Trainer elevated it even more. The only downside is that I had already obtained that card when I opened my booster box, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. Overall, it doesn’t get much better than getting these four packs.
